This past week has been quite the adventure, hasn't it Hogwarts?
Yes, some people were unfortunate enough to injure themselves and have to be healed like muggles which is terribly disgusting, believe me, I've seen. But! It's just like Issue #144 of Squib Squad where the Atlantean cruise ship breaks down in the North Sea and everyone loses their magic from this muggle science ray and Terry and Phinn show everyone on board how to outwit the muggle captors through cunning and teamwork rather than magic! this book I read one time! It was so fascinating watching how everyone handled things. Ravenclaw seemed to be doing great!
But then, we always were the smartest in that way, weren't we? I only regret that I couldn't have been there to help out. I was with a group of younger students by the Transfiguration classroom and it was clear that that was truly where my presence was needed. And my hair was far too much a mess to come back to Ravenclaw
But maybe it will happen again sometime. It was fun in its own way, now that magic and my curlers is (mostly) working again!

Also. Does anything know anything about ALBANIA? That's apparently where I'm spending my winter Hols. And the Library's completely impossible to navigate! I think it's one of those boring countries next to France or something. |

Last night was so much fun you guys! We're like all so beautiful! But I want to make everyone more beautiful! So! If you'll meet me down in the potions classroom! I, Gilderoy Lockhart, am going to teach everyone how to make hair lotion!

It seems relevant to mention that anyone not intending to watch the Ravenclaw quidditch tryouts on Monday evening, 6 pm, may wish to rethink that stance. I, Gilderoy Lockhart, will be there, with bells on!
Although.... probably not literally bells. Though maybe a little broom charm or something might be appropriate.
Anyway! Yes! Come see me in action!

Today's been quite the nervewracking day. I myself lost a scarf. It was a wonderful sequinned blue number that really brought out my eyes. A young girl it to me a few summers ago when I was in France with my family. A sentimental piece perhaps, but I suppose it was a bit dated.
I'll just have to find one to replace it. What do you think of magenta, Hogwarts?
Anyway, I'm digressing. As we're all back here, reminiscing about our summers, and preparing for classes to start, I know I can't help but speculate as to what all of my classmates have been up to over their vacations. Likewise, I'm certain everyone has noticed my new tan. Why a third year came up to me just today and once she over came her initial shyness of course asked just that.
I know. Where did I get it, you must be asking. Britain is damn near impossible to tan in. We have no sun. Look out the windows. How drab is that. It looks like the Hufflepuff commonroom.
But it's true. I did not spend my summer in Britain trying to catch whatever measley rays of sun might caper through the clouds when the rain wasn't looking. I spent it in Spain. My mother, quite the philanthropist, you know is always wanting to help the less fortunate, and took up a teaching post for some squibs in a Spanish village. And well my dad got stuck at work, and Gaius was busy with the Pride of Portree, so I valiantly volunteered to accompany her, sacrficing my summer for the greater good.
I bet you didn't know I knew Spanish.
Anyway. I did get to do some sight seeing and some shopping. Though I won't spoil the all of the surprises. Intrepid readers will just have to watch my wardrobe to see those. But! I will share some pictures!
